From tree to table! A hybrid legacy tree on the property produces a mix of McIntosh, Honey Crisp, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious apples. I am grateful to the person who planted and grafted the tree many years ago. In Fall 2021 there was a bumper crop. 100+ gallons of these beautiful, naturally sweet apples were donated to the Community and the rest were made into organic applesauce. A future goal is to study and utilize enzymes + stem cells from the apples in skincare products, but for now they will be consumed as part of a healthy diet.
